JOB DESCRIPTION Position Sales Officer Role Overview To achieve the given sales target of the assigned HQ and to manage Interim Sales Representatives (ISR's) & deliver results in line with zonal & organizational expectations. Department - Sales: General Trade Reports To - Area Sales Manager Type of Role - Individual Contributor/People Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver sales targets in defined market/geography Appoint and manage Channel Partners in defined market/geography Expand town coverage and distribution outlets to build extraction intensity Visit markets/distributors as per PJP to strengthen market execution & trade relationships Leveraging Sales Automation Tools to provide structured, logical, relevant & organized information to ISRs & utilizing for growth & productivity Ensuring implementation and effective utilization of Dealer Management System (DMS) at channel partners. Resolve channel-specific issues within specific timelines Manage given infrastructure through regular meetings with distributors, retailers and off-roll sales representatives MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Full time MBA from a recognized University Experience Minimum 4-6 years of hardcore sales experience in FMCG/similar industry in GT business. Should have handled a diverse team of salesman/ISR across different locations. KEY COMPETENCIES Technical Good understanding of Sales & Channel management Calculating & Estimating skills Problem solving ability Geography & territory knowledge Planning & Organizing skills Behavioral Aligning & motivating others Relationship building skills Good Communication & presentation skills Good time management & prioritization skills
