Continuously analyze import data to support the category head in developing sourcing strategies to balance between local and overseas vendors. Work closely with the Development team in price building for NPD’s and in new vendor identification. Procurement: Work with the category head to strategize and execute procurement plans for critical RM’s. Lead contract negotiations with vendors of critical RM’s, ensuring favorable terms and conditions in collaboration with the material manager. Assess potential risks in the supply chain, including price volatility, vendor reliability, and geopolitical factors, and develop mitigation plans for critical RM’s. Identify areas of improvement in procurement and the supply chain of RM to enhance cost-effectiveness for each RM. Support to International Business: Drive S&OP for exports from India and ensure servicing within committed timelines Manage & negotiate costs with external stakeholders involved in exporting products from India to destination countries Lead strategic supply chain initiatives outside India in close coordination with the international business team. Qualification: Min 2 years of post MBA experience in Supply Chain (Direct Procurement) from a reputed institute (Tier 1/Tier 2 colleges only).
