Job Description

Role & responsibilities

a) Support in Sales & Marketing of Service & MRO business for Thermal Power Plant steam

turbines &its accessories.

b) Technical Direction and supervision leadership for safely site service activities of

Operational maintenance, Testing, Repair and startup activities of Steam Turbines and its

auxilaries system accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope

requirements with coordination to project office.

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities for turbine spare parts (OEM and approved

alternatives).

  • Prepare and submit quotations for turbine components, ensuring competitive pricing and

delivery timelines.

  • Build and maintain customer relationships with utilities, IPPs, OEMs, and service

companies.

  • Completion of execution of the assigned projects
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure availability of

critical spares.

  • Monitor inventory levels and lead times to optimize stock and minimize downtime for

clients.

  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to identify correct parts based on turbine

make, model, and serial numbers.

  • Ensure compatibility and adherence to safety and performance standards.
  • Track customer orders from quotation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate

fulfillment.

  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Analyze turbine fleets, maintenance cycles, and market trends to forecast spares demand.
  • Participate in pricing strategy development and margin optimization.
  • Maintain detailed records of quotations, sales, service reports, and customer feedback

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in field technical services of turbine.
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 510 years of experience in turbine spare parts, preferably in power generation.
  • Strong understanding of gas/steam/wind turbine components (e.g., blades, bearings, seals,

nozzles, rotors).

  • Familiarity with OEMs Industries.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and spare part lists (BoMs).
