Job Description

Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications like CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE are a strong advantage. 💼 Work Experience2–5+ years of proven experience in IT product sales, specifically in firewall or network security solutions. Experience in selling brands like Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, Sophos, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper, Checkpoint, etc. 🧠 Technical KnowledgeGood understanding of: Firewall technologies (NGFW, UTM, VPN, IPS/IDS, Web filtering) Network architecture (LAN/WAN/VLAN, IP routing, NAT, ACLs) Cybersecurity concepts (Zero Trust, Threat Intelligence, Security Posture) Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients. 🧾 Sales SkillsStrong knowledge of B2B sales, channel sales, and enterprise solution selling. Ability to identify prospects, generate leads, prepare proposals, and close deals. Experience with RFPs/RFQs, tenders, and pre-sales demos. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho). 🧑‍💼 Personal AttributesExcellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and client handling capabilities. Ability to work independently and meet targets. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. 🌍 Additional RequirementsWillingness to travel locally/regionally for client meetings. Understanding of IT procurement processes and vendor ecosystem.
