Job Description

  • Drive national revenue targets, product mix improvements, and margin enhancement.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing regional sales teams across India.
  • Implement robust sales KPIs, performance metrics, and incentive structures.
  • Lead pricing strategy for high-value and high-margin product categories.
  • Representing company in various industry forums.

2. Market Development

  • Strengthen penetration with EPC contractors, road construction & maintenance companies, PWDs, NHAI, RDCs, and key infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Identify and convert emerging opportunities in

    PMB, CBG, emulsions, cold mix, and asset life-cycle solutions

    .
  • Expand presence in underserved geographies with strategic business development initiatives.

3. Key Account Management

  • Own and nurture senior-level relationships with strategic clients, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Improve win-rate in tenders, annual rate contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Drive structured customer engagement, retention programs, and strategic partnerships.

4. Revenue Assurance & Risk Control

  • Ensure disciplined payment collections and drive reduction in debtor ageing.
  • Oversee contract compliance, statutory documentation, and commercial governance.
  • Identify risks early and enforce mitigation frameworks across regions.

5. Cross-Functional & Operational Alignment

  • Work closely with Production, Dispatch, Quality, Finance, and SCM teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and customer service standards across all units.
  • Champion technology adoption, CRM hygiene, digital sales tracking, and data-led decision-making.

6. Governance, Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver actionable business insights to the Executive Director and Board.
  • Prepare sales dashboards, competitor intelligence, forecasting models, and strategy updates.
  • Maintain transparent communication across plants, teams, and senior leadership.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong national-level leadership experience in multi-unit business structures.
  • Deep understanding of road construction materials, bitumen derivatives, and infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Proven expertise in pricing, negotiations, high-value closures, and receivables management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a strong ownership and execution mindset.
  • High energy, disciplined work ethic, and willingness to travel extensively.
  • From value added Biumen industry, Prefered.
