From our headquarters in Muttenz, Switzerland, we support our global clientele together with our 6 subsidiaries and over 40 local sales partners. In 2013, WAB-GROUP, established WAB India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, located in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, with manufacturing facilities in Turbhe & Daman. Our facility includes a warehouse and assembly line as well as a Process Technology Center where our clients can conduct trials under laboratory conditions. From here, at present we serve customers in India Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. For our office in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, we are looking for a committed, dynamic, technically sound, and customer-focused individual to join us as a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and manage strategic accounts across our operating regions. This is a high-impact, full-time role requiring a hands-on professional with strong technical acumen, deep industry understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, launching new products, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and driving key sales initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team. Your responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers to ensure alignment with sales targets, regional strategies, and customer satisfaction goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative and technical support throughout the sales cycle. Lead end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, lead qualification, product demonstrations, negotiations, deal closure, and coordination of after-sales service. Achieve defined sales targets and increase market share within assigned territories and industry verticals. Manage and grow strategic key accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Conduct technical presentations and discussions with key decision-makers and end-users. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Collaborate with internal technical, support, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction from solution design to post-installation support. Maintain accurate and updated records of sales pipeline, forecasts, and activities using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitor intelligence to the leadership team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product development and go-to-market strategies. Your Profile: Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. 10+ years of field sales experience in industrial/process equipment. Skills & Competencies Experience in leading and coaching regional/area sales teams with a focus on performance management and team development. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding B2B/industrial sales targets. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate customer needs into product solutions. Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a consultative selling approach. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value accounts. Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce). High self-motivation, accountability, and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Experience in territory management and customer segmentation for optimized market reach.
