This is a high-impact, full-time role requiring a hands-on professional with strong technical acumen, deep industry understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, launching new products, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and driving key sales initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team. Your responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers to ensure alignment with sales targets, regional strategies, and customer satisfaction goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative and technical support throughout the sales cycle. Lead end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, lead qualification, product demonstrations, negotiations, deal closure, and coordination of after-sales service. Achieve defined sales targets and increase market share within assigned territories and industry verticals. Manage and grow strategic key accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Conduct technical presentations and discussions with key decision-makers and end-users. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Collaborate with internal technical, support, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction from solution design to post-installation support. Maintain accurate and updated records of sales pipeline, forecasts, and activities using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitor intelligence to the leadership team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product development and go-to-market strategies. Your Profile: Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. 10+ years of field sales experience in industrial/process equipment. Skills & Competencies Experience in leading and coaching regional/area sales teams with a focus on performance management and team development. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding B2B/industrial sales targets. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate customer needs into product solutions. Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a consultative selling approach. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value accounts. Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce). High self-motivation, accountability, and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Experience in territory management and customer segmentation for optimized market reach. Primary Responsibilites Act as a trusted advisor to our customers and their technical staff. Promote and advise on WAB products and services through direct customer contact. Prospect, qualify and nurture new sales leads. Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products and services. Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects. Participate in and help set up trade shows, exhibitions and seminars. Responsible for demonstrating product operation, ease of installation, and system capabilities. Define product and functional requirements based on customer and partner requirements. Work with Technical Support team to assure a smooth transition from pre-sales to the post-sales implementation environment. Work with Technical Support team and partners at key-end user sites to assure proper system commissioning and confirm customer expectations and requirements are met. Schedule local post sales meetings to remove technical obstacles and generate a long-term success for the customer. Provide end-user feedback to Management team to help support product enhancements. Track all sales activities by regularly updating account information. Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports. Communicate customers and prospects, pain points to appropriate departments. Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects. Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers. Meet and/or exceed targets. Coordinate with other WAB team members and departments to optimize the sales effort. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products. Build and maintain professional networks. Eager to travel (30-50%).
