Job Description: Sales Manager – Two Wheeler

Loaction: Salem

Position Summary

The Sales Manager – Two Wheeler is responsible for achieving the sales targets of motorcycles/scooters, managing the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth for the dealership/branch. The role includes planning, team development, process implementation, and coordination with OEMs.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Target Achievement

  • Drive monthly and annual two-wheeler sales targets (retail & wholesale).
  • Monitor daily sales performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure high conversion ratio from enquiries to bookings and deliveries.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team (Sales Executives, Team Leaders).
  • Conduct daily briefing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure discipline, productivity, and achievement of individual targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Build long-term customer relationships for referrals and repeat business.

4. Business Development

  • Identify local market opportunities and implement promotional activities.
  • Establish tie-ups with corporates, institutions, and channel partners.
  • Plan and execute showroom activities, roadshows, and test-ride events.

5. Process & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to OEM sales processes and dealership SOPs.
  • Oversee proper documentation for booking, delivery, and finance.
  • Coordinate with finance, RTO, insurance, and accessories departments.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Coordinate with OEM area managers for stock, schemes, and marketing.
  • Ensure proper stock planning and manage ageing inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Business/Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in two-wheeler or automobile sales.
  • Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of local market and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, DMS/CRM systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
