About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Steel Fabrication (Solar Mounting Structures) to lead and expand our sales operations in the solar fabrication domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with EPCs, developers, and industrial clients, and a strong understanding of solar mounting systems and steel fabrication processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales of solar mounting structures and fabricated steel components.
  • Identify and close business opportunities with EPC contractors, developers, and industrial clients.
  • Build a strong pipeline and deliver consistent month-on-month revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Conduct client meetings, present technical & commercial proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Maintain CRM updates, follow-ups, and progress tracking.

Technical Sales & Value Engineering

  • Interpret client RFQs, drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for accurate BOQs, layouts, and customized solutions.
  • Provide value-engineered options to reduce cost while maintaining structural integrity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with design, production, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support alignment between customer requirements and internal capabilities.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track competitor products, pricing, steel rates, fabrication trends, and solar market movement.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in domestic and international markets.

Required Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Civil Engineering.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales is preferred.

Experience Required

  • 8–10 years of experience in sales.
  • Experience in solar, manufacturing, or service industry is an added advantage.
