Sales Manager - Solar| Open Access| RESCO

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead and scale business development

for Open Access, RESCO, and KUSUM ground-mounted solar projects. The ideal candidate should have a

strong background in solar sales, leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of the C&I and agricultural

solar markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the identification and engagement of key clients for Open Access, RESCO, and KUSUM models.

- Supervise the sales team to ensure high-performance lead generation and closure.

- Drive education of clients on financial and operational advantages of solar models.

- Oversee site assessments and coordination with technical teams for feasibility checks.

- Review and approve techno-commercial proposals, ROI, and savings presentations.

- Negotiate and finalize high-value PPAs and EPC contracts.

- Ensure documentation, compliance, and smooth project execution with internal teams.

- Monitor DISCOM regulations, solar policies, and emerging market trends.

- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met.

- Provide senior management with regular market feedback and sales reporting.

*Requirements*

- 5+ years of experience in solar sales with leadership or managerial experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).

- MBA in Marketing/Sales preferred.

- Deep knowledge of solar policies and Open Access regulations.

- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data analysis.

- Willingness to travel extensively across PAN NCR and Northern states.
