Job Description

Job Title:

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the sales team to achieve showroom sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure smooth dealership operations as per company policies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Plan and achieve monthly and annual sales targets (retail & corporate).
  • Monitor sales performance of individual team members.
  • Implement strategies to increase vehicle sales and market share.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely vehicle delivery.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team.
  • Conduct daily briefings and review meetings.
  • Assign leads and track follow-ups through CRM systems.
  • Ensure discipline, grooming, and adherence to showroom standards.

3. Customer Handling

  • Ensure excellent customer experience from enquiry to delivery.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
  • Oversee test drives, negotiations, and deal closures.

4. Business Development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, financiers, and fleet owners.
  • Plan local marketing activities, road shows, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with OEM for offers, new model launches, and campaigns.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Coordinate with service, accounts, and accessories departments.
  • Monitor documentation, loan processing, and RTO formalities.
  • Share market feedback with senior management and OEM.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership & team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Customer-centric and result-oriented approach.
  • Good knowledge of automotive products and financing.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate / MBA preferred.
  • 510 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with passenger car brands (Toyota, Hyundai, Maruti, etc.) preferred
