Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for generating enquiries, maintaining customer relations, negotiating and winning projects in the defined area. Additionally, you will develop a regional strategy aligned with the Sales Director and be accountable for new machine sales in India and support regions in Asia Pacific (excluding China). Your role will involve reporting all sales activities, developing networks, presenting at exhibitions and conferences, and improving the Pharma APAC market position. Extensive travel, up to 60% of the time, is required, and you will need to ensure strong financial and operational performance while aligning closely with the Service business. Key Responsibilities: - Generate enquiries, maintain customer relations, and negotiate and win projects - Develop a regional strategy aligned with the Sales Director - Be responsible for new machine sales in India and support regions in Asia Pacific (excluding China) - Report all sales activities, develop networks, and present at exhibitions and conferences - Improve the Pharma APAC market position and drive effectiveness through customer relationship management - Ensure necessary contracts and commercial processes are followed and acceptable to GEA after contractual sign off - Stay in office when required for internal communications and management reporting - Liaise with customers face to face through video/Teams Meetings or otherwise wherever possible - Ensure high customer centric focus with a view to delivering profitable returns for GEA and customer satisfaction - Lead and develop a high-performance approach with a customer meeting for feedback on GEA position - Achieve regional OI budget and develop a pipeline to create new customers - Make case by case sales strategy based on available information from customers - Regularly forecast all sales prospects and activities - Communicate with customers, agents, Country Sales Organization, and internal GEA departments - Decide on technical solutions to be offered to customers and participate in the implementation of industrial best practices and standards Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Masters in Business Management (Marketing) - Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the industry - Broad experience in sales, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record - In-depth technical knowledge on Granulation lines, Material handling, and containment solutions - Ability to handle activities related to Sales Manager and present to a wider audience - Strong negotiation and commercial skills, proficiency in English, analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and strong customer orientation - Adaptability to changes, teamwork, target orientation, excellent communication, entrepreneurial mindset, interpersonal skills, personal drive, and ability to work with cross-functional teams Please click apply above to access our guided application process if this role has piqued your interest.,
