Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Drive

    sales growth for cable ties, wire harness clips, and related plastic components

    in the automotive and electrical industries.
  • Manage and expand business with

    existing OEMs and Tier-1 customers

    (e.g., Minda, Yazaki, Dhoot, Suprajit, etc.).
  • Identify and develop

    new B2B customers

    , both domestic and export.
  • Prepare and submit

    quotations, price negotiations, and techno-commercial offers

    in coordination with management.
  • Track and ensure

    timely order execution

    , dispatch, and payment collection.
  • Maintain and update all customer data, inquiries, and follow-ups in

    CRM (Salesforce / Freshsales)

    .
  • Visit customer plants for

    technical discussions, approvals, and audits

    .
  • Collaborate with

    production, QC, and logistics

    teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor

    market trends, competitor pricing, and new product requirements

    .
  • Generate

    weekly and monthly MIS reports

    on sales performance, targets, and forecasts.
  • Build and maintain

    long-term customer relationships

    through professional communication and service excellence.
  • Participate in

    industry exhibitions and customer audits

    to promote company products.
  • Provide inputs to management for

    new product development and pricing strategy

    .

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) or B.Com / MBA (Marketing / Sales).
  • Experience:

    510 years in

    B2B industrial sales

    , preferably in

    automotive components, electrical accessories, or plastic moulded products

    .
  • Proven experience handling

    OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers

    (e.g., Motherson, Yazaki, Minda, Tata, Hyundai vendors).
  • Strong technical understanding of

    cable ties, clips, glands, and wire harness components

    .
  • Proficient in preparing

    quotations, cost comparisons, and technical datasheets

    .
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills — capable of dealing with purchase, QA, and engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience with

    CRM tools (Salesforce)

    and

    MS Excel / PowerPoint

    for reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with a result-oriented mindset and meet targets.
  • Willingness to

    travel across India

    for customer visits, audits, and exhibitions.
  • High integrity, disciplined work habits, and customer-focused attitude.
