We are hiring for Branch in Charge-Sales /Business Development

Location - Kandla

Marine Shipping Company head quarted in Mumbai

The Branch In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the sales operations and activities of a designated branch. This role involves managing the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Branch In-Charge also ensures compliance with company policies and contributes to the overall growth and profitability of the branch.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve branch sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and plan future activities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
  • Address customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and support.

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the branchs customer base.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales and market share.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage branch budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks.

Desired Profile:

  • Qualification: Graduate, MBA in Sales & Marketing will be preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales management software.
