Job Description

Job Role - Individual Contributor

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and execute a cohesive business strategy for the RFID Solutions division aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the techno-commercial charter, balancing innovation, product capability, and market competitiveness.

2. Technical Pre-Sales & Solutioning:

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their operational and technical pain points.
  • Design and present tailored RFID solutions, integrating hardware, software, and process workflows.

. Sales & Business Development:

  • Own the end-to-end sales process from lead generation and technical engagement to deal closure and post-sales support.
  • Drive sales targets, pipeline growth, and revenue objectives for the RFID business.

6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage budgeting for the RFID division.
  • Monitor key KPIs including sales performance, pipeline health, PoC conversions, and revenue realization.

7. Marketing & Brand Positioning:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive awareness through technical whitepapers, webinars, industry showcases, and case studies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to build brand equity and position the firm as a thought leader in RFID.

8. Industry & Technology Awareness:

  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings, emerging RFID technologies, and client demands.

Skills Required

  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, expanding customer base and leading high performing sales team.
  • Strong understanding of RFID technologies, applications, and industry trends.
  • Techno-Commercial Expertise: Deep understanding of RFID technologies active/passive tags, readers, middleware, and integrated systems.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required

  • Product / Solutions Knowledge
  • Domain expertise
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Educational Qualifications

  • BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science
  • MBA in Marketing, Strategy, or General Management (preferred)

Experience Level (If applicable)

5+ years of Marketing / Sales experience.

Experience working in a tech-driven solutions company or a product-based firm with RFID offerings.
