As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (RF) at WDTS, you will have the opportunity to work with world-leading technology at our Gurugram R&D Center. You will be a part of a newly created R&D team and will play a crucial role in developing both hardware and software solutions to address unique challenges for our customers. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our market leadership and product advantage in the casino technology business. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead new electronics design projects, including enhancements to current RFID-based products (13.56 MHz). - Perform 1D/3D antenna design for new and existing products, optimizing RFID reader range and reliability. - Take responsibility for production testing to ensure designs meet EMC compliance and other regulatory requirements. - Develop schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using Altium Designer, integrating RF, analog, and digital components. - Produce detailed technical documents (e.g. Theory of Operation, schematics, BOMs, test plans) to support design and manufacturing. - Build and evaluate prototypes, conduct iterative testing and troubleshooting to validate design concepts and performance. - Collaborate closely with the software development team in India and support teams in Macau and Las Vegas to integrate systems and resolve issues. - Liaise with the product marketing team and contract manufacturer to align design specifications, production testing, and product release schedules. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field) from a reputable institution. - Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, with experience in RF and analog circuit design being highly regarded. - Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB design. - Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers. - Experience in preparing clear and thorough technical design documentation. - Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment. - Understanding of the R&D project lifecycle (PLM process). - Willingness to travel internationally as required for collaboration or support. **Preferred Qualifications & Skills:** - Knowledge of EMC testing standards and regulatory requirements. - Familiarity with the unique challenges of RF environments and interference mitigation. - Understanding of RFID technologies, especially 13.56 MHz systems. - Experience with NI LabVIEW and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis. - Simulation & Modeling: Experience with simulation and modeling tools for RF/electronic design is a plus. Business Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute a cohesive business strategy for the RFID Solutions division aligned with company objectives. Lead the techno-commercial charter, balancing innovation, product capability, and market competitiveness. 2. Technical Pre-Sales & Solutioning: Engage directly with clients to understand their operational and technical pain points. Design and present tailored RFID solutions, integrating hardware, software, and process workflows. 4 . Sales & Business Development: Own the end-to-end sales process from lead generation and technical engagement to deal closure and post-sales support. Drive sales targets, pipeline growth, and revenue objectives for the RFID business. 6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Monitoring: Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage budgeting for the RFID division. Monitor key KPIs including sales performance, pipeline health, PoC conversions, and revenue realization. 7. Marketing & Brand Positioning: Collaborate with marketing teams to drive awareness through technical whitepapers, webinars, industry showcases, and case studies. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to build brand equity and position the firm as a thought leader in RFID. 8. Industry & Technology Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings, emerging RFID technologies, and client demands. Skills Required Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, expanding customer base and leading high performing sales team. Strong understanding of RFID technologies, applications, and industry trends. Techno-Commercial Expertise: Deep understanding of RFID technologies active/passive tags, readers, middleware, and integrated systems. Technical/Functional Proficiency Required Product / Solutions Knowledge Domain expertise Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Educational Qualifications BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science MBA in Marketing, Strategy, or General Management (preferred) Experience Level (If applicable) 5+ years of Marketing / Sales experience.
