Job Summary

results-driven Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement

    sales strategies and action plans

    to achieve assigned targets.
  • Identify and acquire new institutional clients (schools, colleges, universities, libraries, coaching institutes, and government organizations).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Support) for smooth execution of sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful

    sales presentations, proposals, and contracts

    .
  • Negotiate and finalize

    pricing, payment terms, and agreements

    with clients.
  • Monitor and track

    sales pipeline, conversion ratios, and performance metrics

    to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on

    market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs

    to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to sales executives in the assigned region.

  • Qualifications & Skills

    • Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred) with 5–10 years of

      institutional sales/B2B sales

      experience.
    • Prior experience in the

      education sector (EdTech, publishing, training, assessments, or allied services)

      is highly desirable.
    • Strong track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent

      communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

      .
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple regions effectively.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
