Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Industrial Heat Pump Sales Manager to drive our growth across key industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of thermal systems, utilities, and industrial processes.


This role is critical to helping industries transition toward sustainable, energy-efficient heating solutions and reduce dependency on fossil-fuel-based systems.


🔧 Key Responsibilities


1. Sales & Business Development

• Lead sales of industrial heat pump systems across sectors such as food processing, chemicals, textiles, FMCG, pharma, and manufacturing.

• Identify new business opportunities for process heating, drying, cooling, and waste-heat recovery applications.

• Develop and execute regional/sector-based sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with utility heads, plant managers, project engineers, consultants, and EPCs.


2. Technical & Solution Engineering

• Understand customer thermal processes and propose optimised, technically sound heat pump solutions.

• Conduct site assessments, energy audits, load studies, and payback/ROI analysis.

• Work closely with engineering teams to prepare techno-commercial proposals, drawings, and system configurations.

• Deliver technical presentations and solution demos to industrial clients.


3. Project & Commercial Coordination

• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → site survey → proposal → negotiation → order closure.

• Coordinate with project, procurement, and service teams to ensure smooth execution and commissioning.

• Support commercial discussions, pricing, and contract finalization.


4. Market Intelligence

• Track industrial decarbonization initiatives, policy changes, and market trends.

• Analyse competitor technologies and pricing to refine value propositions.

• Identify new segments where heat pumps can replace traditional thermal systems like boilers and heaters.


5. Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key industrial accounts.

• Ensure customer satisfaction, addressing critical escalations in coordination with the service team.

• Nurture long-term partnerships for repeat and large-scale investments.



🎯 Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5–12 years’ experience in industrial equipment sales, HVAC, thermal utilities, or energy systems.

• Strong understanding of steam systems, hot water generation, refrigeration cycles, boilers, and utility operations.

• Proven track record in B2B industrial sales, solution selling, or project-based selling.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Engineering background (Mechanical/Energy/Chemical) preferred.
