Sales Manager - EV Aftermarket Distribution

Lead India's EV Aftermarket Revolution | Pune

Company Overview

We are launching an innovative new venture in India's EV 2-wheeler aftermarket space. Ground-floor opportunity to build and lead distribution operations for a startup entering the rapidly expanding electric vehicle aftermarket industry.

Position: Sales Manager - Distribution Channel Development

Location:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert traditional 2-wheeler parts distributors to EV opportunities
  • Build relationships with national/regional distributors and service networks
  • Develop channel partner onboarding and support programs
  • Negotiate partnership terms and distribution agreements
  • Convert traditional repair shops to EV component specialists
  • Recruit and build sales team of 3-5 regional representatives
  • Train team on EV market dynamics and sales processes

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in automotive aftermarket

     - specifically 2-wheeler parts distribution
  • Deep knowledge of traditional 2W distribution ecosystem

     - key players, margins, processes
  • Proven relationships

     with distributors, wholesalers, and repair networks
  • Track record in channel development

     - building distribution partnerships from scratch
  • B2B sales experience

     across distributor and dealer segments
  • Strategic market opportunity identification
  • Complex partnership negotiation and deal structuring
  • Team building and sales force development experience
  • Engineering or Business degree preferred
  • Strong communication in Hindi and English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset suitable for startup environment
