Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager in the Bulk Powder Material Handling Equipment industry in Chennai, your role involves generating sales, managing key accounts, and growing business in your region. You are required to possess strong technical knowledge, client handling skills, and be willing to travel frequently. Key Responsibilities: - Understand company products and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers. - Generate leads, follow up with potential clients, send quotes, and close orders. - Manage both pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction. - Travel around 15 days per month to meet clients, establish relationships, and understand their requirements. - Provide basic technical support to customers and collaborate with technical/design teams. - Collect customer requirements and communicate them to the Head Office for solution design. - Utilize CRM/ERP systems to manage customer data and prepare sales reports. - Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth. - Coordinate with dealers, agents, and the Head Office to streamline sales processes. - Motivate and provide guidance to junior sales engineers to enhance their performance. Candidate Requirements: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in B2B/B2C industrial sales, preferably in mechanical/electrical sectors. - Strong technical understanding of the industry and products. - Excellent communication skills in English and the local language. - Analytical, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. - Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is preferred.
