Job Description

Sales Manager Skills/Qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, fashion management, or textile engineering is often preferred. 2. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, often 4-5 years of prior sales experience. 3. Institutional sale experience/ Fashion designing/Core sales in any field. 4. A strong, comprehensive understanding of different fabrics, materials, and production processes. 5. Knowledge of pricing strategies, market dynamics, budgeting, and financial reporting. 6. The ability to negotiate deals, build relationships, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.  Responsibilities: * Creating and executing strategies to meet sales targets and expand the customer base ie, schools/institutions. * Acquiring new customers and nurturing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty. * Coordinating and participating in industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions. ● Carrying out market studies ,collating & analyzing market related data to identify potential markets, customers and to understand customer needs ● Setting sales targets and preparing supporting Sales Plan ● Exploring new sales opportunities and meet with prospective clients in line with the business strategy of the company. ● Preparing and delivering presentations as appropriate to prospective clients ● Obtaining Designs & Samples from HO and presenting them to customers; Communicate feedback from customers to HO ● Consolidate customer specifications, and communicate to HO ● Negotiating contracts , and closing them along with Regional Business Head ● Working closely with Client /Order Servicing personnel to ensure that all pre production & post delivery order servicing tasks are carried out accurately and to the satisfaction of the client ● Submitting Bills / Invoices to clients and following up with them for realization PERFORMANCE MEASURES ● Sales Revenue ● Growth in Sales Revenue ● Customer base expansion ● Revenue from New Customers in existing markets ● Revenue from New Customers in New Markets ● Customer Retention ( Retained in year -2) ● Retention of Key Customers ( Retained in year -2 ) ● Revenue from Retention Sales ● % of Collection within credit period ● Inventory of finished products ● Sales Revenue ● Growth in Sales Revenue ● Customer base expansion ● Revenue from New Customers in existing markets ● Revenue from New Customers in New Markets ● Customer Retention ( Retained in year -2) ● Retention of Key Customers ( Retained in year -2 ) ● Revenue from Retention Sales ● % of Collection within credit period ● Inventory of finished products
