dynamic Sales Manager with strong retention expertise

Sales Manager - Retention & Growth

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Drive new business acquisition through B2B sales of VoIP solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Manage sales cycles end-to-end, from prospecting to contract closure.

Retention & Account Management:

  • Develop and implement

    customer retention strategies

    to reduce churn and improve client satisfaction.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with support teams to address escalated issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular account reviews with clients to understand evolving needs and maximize value.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to meet individual and collective sales goals.
  • Align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and retention initiatives.
  • Work closely with product teams to provide customer feedback for product enhancements.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, churn rates, and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, retention metrics, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Leverage CRM and analytics tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) to track pipeline, sales activity, and retention outcomes.

Customer Engagement & Growth:

  • Conduct client meetings, product demos, webinars, and training sessions to drive adoption.
  • Educate customers on new features and solutions to increase engagement.
  • Organize targeted campaigns for at-risk or high-value clients to strengthen loyalty.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum

    7+ years of experience in B2B IT/Telecom sales

    , with exposure to

    customer retention/account management

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in VoIP, telecom, or IT services.
  • Experience leading sales teams and managing international client accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and customer analytics platforms.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales acumen with knowledge of customer retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer behavior and sales data.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
