The Opportunity

Sales Development Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion:

    Be the first point of contact for our inbound leads (dentists/practice managers).
  • High-Volume Outreach:

    Conduct professional and engaging outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to qualify leads and nurture interest.
  • Appointment Setting:

    Skillfully qualify prospects and plan product demonstrations.
  • Sales Process Ownership:

    Manage and maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress within our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Post-Demo Follow-up:

    Execute timely and persistent follow-up strategies to keep opportunities warm and drive next steps.
  • Usage Nurturing:

    Engage with recently onboarded clients to encourage platform adoption and higher initial usage, ensuring a smooth transition to our Customer Success team.


Required Skills

  • Exceptional Communication:

    Outstanding verbal and written skills; the ability to articulate value clearly, listen actively, and handle professional conversations with practice owners.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset:

    A proactive, curious mind that can quickly understand a dentist's pain points and creatively position our solution.
  • Strong Work Ethic & Resilience:

    Drive to consistently hit activity targets and the resilience to handle objections and rejection gracefully.
  • Educational Background (Preferred):

    Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a

    Tier 1 or Tier 2 B-School/Undergraduate program

    , or a

    Dental College

    (BDS/MDS) or related healthcare field. Candidates with an understanding of the dental industry or B-school fundamentals will be highly preferred.
  • Tech Savvy:

    Comfortable with technology, quick to learn new tools (like a CRM), and familiar with professional social platforms.
