Job Title: Sales Head for Premium Beauty & Cosmetic Brand

Job Summary


We are seeking a high-performing, well-connected leader to spearhead our Premium Beauty & Cosmetic Vertical across India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing and managing pan-India distribution networks for luxury cosmetic brands, coupled with deep, hands-on experience in distributor management, modern trade, retail channels, and digital commerce. This role demands someone with strong market command, established industry relationships, and the ability to drive premium brand penetration in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pan-India Distribution Leadership: Develop, expand, and command a robust national distribution network covering metro cities, Tier-1, and key Tier-2 markets.
  • Brand Activation & Premium Positioning: Design and implement high-impact brand activation strategies tailored for luxury beauty & cosmetic products.
  • Channel Management: Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, super stockists, modern trade accounts, premium retailers, and digital platforms to ensure seamless availability and brand visibility.
  • Network Expansion: Leverage existing industry connections to swiftly onboard high-potential distribution partners aligned with brand ethos.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, global beauty trends, and evolving consumer preferences to adjust go-to-market strategies for maximum impact.
  • Trade Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to develop exclusive in-store promotions, luxury retail events, and trade marketing campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyse sales data, market share trends, and ROI on promotional activities, presenting insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Distributor Enablement: Conduct product training and business development sessions for distribution partners to elevate sell-through performance.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the brand at premium trade shows, beauty industry events, and luxury retail networking forums.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 5- 7years in sales & distribution for premium or luxury cosmetic/beauty brands with a mandatory, active pan-India distributor network.
  • Network Strength: Established, verifiable relationships with key distributors, super stockists, and modern trade partners across India.
  • Industry Insight: Deep understanding of luxury beauty & healthcare market dynamics, consumer behavior, and high-end retail operations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business development acumen with proven ability to scale premium brands.
    • Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
    • Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in CRM tools & MS Office.
  • Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (experience outweighs formal education for the right candidate).
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across India.

  • Prior experience launching ultra-premium international beauty brands in India.
  • Strong command over luxury retail merchandising & display standards.
  • Ability to operate independently in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
