Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with 12 to 15 years of experience to lead the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Sales vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and closing opportunities for rooftop and open-access solar projects in the C&I segment.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in the C&I segment.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Lead client engagement from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Conduct detailed site assessments, energy audits, and coordinate with engineering teams to design optimal solar solutions.
  • Structure customized PPA, CAPEX, and OPEX (RESCO) offerings based on client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including corporate clients, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Stay updated with government policies, incentives, DISCOM regulations, and market trends in the solar domain.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like engineering, finance, legal, and project execution for seamless delivery.
Job Requirements
  • Strong understanding of solar technology, project finance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/MBA in Renewable Energy or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or business development role.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale solar projects and managing business units.
  • Certification in Business Development in renewable energy is a plus.
