Job Title: Sales Head — E-commerce

About the Role
We are hiring a dynamic Sales Head who will operate like the queen on a chessboard — strategic, multi-directional, and always a few moves ahead. This role carries complete ownership of sales performance across all platforms, including Amazon, Myntra, and Ajio. The ideal candidate combines sharp analytical thinking with decisive execution, leading teams, managing inventory, and accelerating growth across India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for sales performance across every marketplace and channel.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales and operations teams, ensuring strong ownership and accountability.
  • Identify low-performing SKUs and create strategies to revive them through discounting, bundling, positioning, and campaigns.
  • Own inventory planning — forecasting, allocation, replenishment, and liquidation — across regions.
  • Build and manage comprehensive sales, returns, and inventory dashboards using Microsoft Power BI or Looker Studio.
  • Monitor marketplace analytics daily and translate insights into decisive actions.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets — and drive teams to achieve them.
  • Stay deeply aligned with marketplace policies, programs, promotions, and algorithms.
  • Work closely with listing, marketing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Continuously identify new revenue opportunities and optimization levers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an e-commerce company this is non-negotiable.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of Amazon, Myntra, and Ajio inside out.
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving measurable sales results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-first mindset.
  • Expert-level efficiency, quick decision-making, and strategic problem solving.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboards (Power BI / Looker Studio preferred).
  • Excellent communication, planning, and execution abilities.
  • High sense of responsibility, ownership, and leadership maturity.

Preferred Advantages

  • Experience with pricing strategies, promotions, and discount planning.
  • Strong understanding of inventory lifecycle and demand forecasting.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, target-driven environments.
