Job Description – Sales Executive (Textiles)

Position: Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Qualification: MBA in Marketing (preferred), Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Textiles
Experience: 2–5 years in Textile/Fabric/ Garment/Processing industry sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the domestic and international textile market.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and service support.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by the management.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and promotional activities to expand customer base.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, quotations, and product samples to potential buyers.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to close profitable deals.
  • Coordinate with production, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and prepare periodic sales reports.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of textile processes (Printing, Dyeing, Embroidery, Fabrics).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to identify and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and business development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Growth in client base and repeat orders.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Contribution to market expansion and brand visibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,715.10 - ₹99,500.00 per month

  • Pandesara, Surat, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
