Sales Executive Pumps / Industrial Equipment

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Executive for our client in Pump industry- to promote and sell their range of pumps and industrial flow equipment. The role involves developing new dealers, managing channel sales, and achieving assigned business targets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in submersible pumps, centrifugal pumps, monoblock pumps, or industrial pumping systems, and strong dealer relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for pumps and related products in the assigned territory.
  • Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing dealers and key accounts.
  • Generate new business opportunities through market visits, lead generation, and local networking.
  • Conduct market surveys to track competitor pricing, products, and promotional activities.
  • Execute brand visibility and promotional campaigns (exhibitions, demos, trade events).
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and ensure timely order closures and collections.
  • Update all customer, lead, and sales data in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Provide regular market feedback to management on trends, opportunities, and product performance.

Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (Preferred: Mechanical / Electrical background).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in

    pump sales, industrial equipment sales, or channel sales

    .
  • Age: 25 to 40 years.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 18 days per month).

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of pump types (submersible, centrifugal, monoblock, industrial).
  • Strong skills in dealer development, channel management, and territory expansion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and customer applications.
