Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in submersible, centrifugal, or industrial pump sales, channel management, and regional business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve area-wise and product-wise sales targets across the assigned region.
  
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  
• Identify and appoint new dealers and distributors to expand market coverage.
  
• Strengthen business from top-performing dealers through regular engagement and performance tracking.
  
• Conduct 80:20 analysis to focus on high-revenue customers and optimize efforts.
  
• Monitor and control inventory levels and ensure timely product availability.
  
• Oversee payment collections and outstanding management from the dealer network.
  
• Plan and implement promotional and branding activities to boost product visibility.
  
• Track sales and marketing budgets against performance targets.
  
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and price benchmarking to identify opportunities.
  
• Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to deliver consistent results.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, and Operations) for smooth execution.
  

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Graduate / Postgraduate (Preferred: Mechanical / Electrical background).
  
• Minimum 812 years of experience in pump sales, industrial product sales, or channel sales.
  
• Must have handled a team of 3 or more sales/marketing executives.
  
• Age: 30–45 years.
  
• Willing to travel extensively (minimum 15 days per month).
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of pump systems (submersible, centrifugal, monoblock, industrial).
  
• Proven experience in dealer network development and channel management.
  
• Excellent sales planning, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, ERP, and CRM tools.
  
• Knowledge of inventory management, debtor control, and regional sales.
