Sales Executive/ Sr. Sales Executive

As a Business Development Executive for metalworking fluids including cutting fluids, coolants, grinding/honing fluids, rust preventives, cleaners, and specialty lubricants, your role will involve driving new business and growing existing accounts. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Prospecting: Identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with CNC job shops, automotive/precision components, die & mold, and fabrication units. - Trials & Conversions: Planning and executing product trials such as sampling, concentration control, dip tests, and line changeover support to convert trials into orders. - Relationship Management: Building multi-level connections with various stakeholders including owners, production teams, purchase departments, QC, and maintenance. Conducting monthly review meetings with key accounts. - Application Support: Documenting machining parameters, tool life, surface finish, sump life, stain resistance, and cleanliness while promptly escalating technical issues. - Market Intelligence: Tracking competitor activity, pricing strategies, and new installations while sharing structured reports. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Production or BSc OR a strong track record in selling industrial consumables to machine shops. - Minimum of 15 years of B2B field sales experience (trainee roles may be considered for freshers with a strong aptitude). - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and email. - Possession of a valid two/four-wheeler license and willingness to travel. Nice-to-have qualifications include: - Working knowledge of CNC processes like turning, milling, and grinding, as well as understanding coolants usage and shop-floor practices. - Proficiency in multiple languages such as English, Hindi, and Marathi.
