Job Title: Sales Executive – Solar Products
Reports to: Sales Head
Position Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in selling solar-related products. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales of solar solutions, including solar panels, inverters, and related accessories. Your efforts will contribute directly to the growth and success of the company as we expand our presence in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development:
o Identify and prospect new customers within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
o Present and sell solar products to potential customers by demonstrating their benefits and cost-effectiveness.
o Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
o Manage leads from initial contact to closing, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage.
o Conduct product presentations, site assessments, and consultations to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
o Provide timely and professional follow-up to customer inquiries, quotations, and post-sales support.
o Educate customers on the latest solar technologies, product offerings, and government incentives or rebates.
• Market Intelligence & Reporting:
o Stay up-to-date on solar industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
o Monitor market conditions and provide feedback to the sales Head to help refine marketing strategies.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts in the CRM system.
• Collaboration & Teamwork:
o Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
o Participate in team meetings, sharing best practices and strategies for improving sales performance.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience:
o Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
o Prior experience in B2B or B2C sales, with a focus on technical products or services, is a plus.
• Skills & Competencies:
o Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to build rapport with clients and clearly articulate the value proposition of solar products.
o Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for renewable energy solutions.
o Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
• Other Requirements:
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Willingness to travel for client meetings and site assessments.
o Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
