Job Description

  • Identify and approach potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Generate new business leads and convert them into active customers.
  • Promote Om Electronic Corporations product range to OEMs and EMS manufacturers.
  • Support the Sales Manager in expanding territory coverage and client base.

Client Coordination & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable component solutions.
  • Provide timely responses to customer enquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Sales Target Execution

  • Achieve individual monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate basic commercial terms, and close deals.
  • Maintain consistent pipeline activity to ensure predictable sales performance.

Market Support & Intelligence

  • Gather market feedback on pricing, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Share insights with the Sales Manager and management for strategy refinement.
  • Assist in identifying new industries or applications with sales potential.

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Update customer interactions, leads, and sales progress in CRM systems.
  • Prepare basic sales reports, follow-up trackers, and order status updates.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of customer data and communication history.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Diploma or technical certification in electronics will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in electronics, semiconductor distribution, or B2B sales preferred.
  • Freshers with strong interest in technical sales may also apply.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and engage with technical buyers.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor and electronic components is preferred.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
  • Energetic, self-driven, and eager to learn new products and markets.
