Job Description

1. Business Development

  • Identify new industrial customers across manufacturing units, workshops, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Generate leads through market visits, cold calls, references, and digital channels.
  • Present product solutions based on customer requirements.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide timely support, follow-ups, and after-sales service.
  • Understand customer pain points and offer suitable product recommendations.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, pricing proposals, and tenders.
  • Negotiate effectively to close deals with favorable margins.

4. Product & Technical Knowledge

  • Understand industrial product features, applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations at customer sites.
  • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily sales reports and visit logs.
  • Update CRM/ERP systems with customer data and sales progress.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for billing, logistics, and supply.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Provide insights on customer needs, industry developments, and market opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and new product launches.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Sales, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in industrial product sales (lubricants, bearings, machinery, tools, etc. preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and explain benefits clearly.
  • Willingness to travel for field visits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
