Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation and Lead Management:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, online marketing, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
  1. Customer Consultations and Product Knowledge:

  • Understand customer energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, the technology, and the savings involved.
  1. Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Create customized quotations and proposals based on customer needs and site evaluations.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements while maintaining profit margins.
  1. Sales Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales progress, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales reports to management, outlining sales performance and progress towards targets.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies.
  1. Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure customer specifications and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Provide excellent post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Skills:

  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, products, and services (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proven sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
  • Should have the ability to set up a new dealership.
  • Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Goal-oriented and driven by results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Travel is required to meet clients, attend industry events, or perform site evaluations. ( 2 Wheeler with valid DL is must)
  • Salary as per industry standard.
