Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of

  GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation)

  and handle assessments, refunds, and audits related to GST.
• Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits; liaise with auditors and resolve audit queries.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare forecasts, and report variances.
• Review and implement internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

• Experience:

  58 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong exposure to

  GST handling

  in a corporate or private limited company setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as

  Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Indian accounting standards, GST laws, and direct taxation

  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
