Job Description

Job Objective:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be an MBA graduate with 1-2 years of experience in selling IT services and software products. You will be responsible for generating new business, building a robust sales pipeline, and achieving revenue targets by effectively communicating the value of our solutions to potential clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and quotas.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis with potential clients to understand their business challenges and propose tailored IT service and product solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and successful deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a sales role, specifically within the IT services or software product industry.
  • Must be willing to commit to the 6-month probation period.
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.

Skills Required

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT services sales (e.g., custom software development, cloud consulting, IT staffing) and/or software product sales.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and sales process management.
  • Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High level of professionalism and resilience.
