Frappe ERPNext Technical Trainee

Job Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Frappe ERPNext Trainee. This role is designed to provide you with intensive, hands-on training in one of the world's most powerful open-source ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of programming and a keen interest in building a career in ERP development and implementation. Upon successful completion of the training, you will transition into a full-time role, contributing to real-world projects and client solutions.

Employment Structure:

• Training Period: 3 Months (Stipend-based)
• Probation Period: 6 Months (following training)
• Employment Contract: 12 Months (commencing after training)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Undergo intensive training on the Frappe framework and ERPNext platform.
• Learn to develop, customize, and configure ERPNext modules like HR, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
• Assist the development team in building custom applications, scripts, and reports within the Frappe framework.
• Learn to perform basic system administration tasks, including user management, role and profile setup, and data import/export.
• Work on real-life tasks and bug fixes under the guidance of senior developers.
• Document the development processes, customizations, and configurations.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings to understand best practices.
• Provide support in testing new features and functionalities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Freshers or candidates with 0-1 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Prior personal projects, internships, or certifications in Python/Web development will be highly valued.
• Must be willing to commit to the 12-month employment contract.
• A logical thinker with a keen eye for detail.

Skills Required

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Python programming language.
• Solid foundational knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases and basic SQL queries (preferably MariaDB/MySQL).
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git, is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Linux command line operations is advantageous.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
