Job Description

Company Overview: We are a leading company delivering innovative water management engineering solutions , including Rubber Dams, BGM (Bituminous Geomembrane) , and other sustainable technologies. Our projects are implemented in close collaboration with government departments across India, particularly in the sectors of Water Resources, Irrigation, and Dam Safety . Role Summary: We are looking for a high-performing Sales Engineer to drive project-based sales and business development in Gujarat . The role involves working with government departments, identifying new business opportunities, supporting tender processes, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders to help achieve annual sales and growth targets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales and business development plan for Gujarat. Engage with government departments like Water Resources, Irrigation, and Dam Safety to promote company solutions and identify upcoming projects. Build and nurture strong relationships with key government officials, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Generate revenue by understanding technical requirements, providing suitable solutions, and closing deals. Maintain a comprehensive and updated database of projects, stakeholders, and opportunities across the state. Achieve annual sales targets and actively explore new business avenues within the state. Provide timely reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, competitor activity, and market trends. Coordinate with internal teams for technical proposals, bid documentation, and order execution. Ensure on-time payment collections to maintain healthy cash flow. Travel extensively across Gujarat for project visits, department meetings, and client interactions. Requirements and Skills: Education: BE Civil / Mechanical (preferred) or Graduate with technical sales experience. Experience: 8-15 years of experience in sales of engineering solutions or infrastructure-related products (experience in Gujarat government sector preferred). Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in preparing and presenting business proposals and sales documents. Result-oriented and self-driven with a customer-centric approach. Mandatory Requirements: Must be local from Gujarat. Language: Fluent in Gujarati (mandatory), along with Hindi and English . Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat .
