Job Title: Sales Engineer – Industrial Solutions (Mechanical) Location: Indore Industry Focus: Cement, Power, Steel Plants Experience Required: 3–8 years Department: Sales / Business Development ⸻ Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer with a mechanical background and proven experience in handling clients from cement, power, and steel industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, providing technical support, and driving the sales of industrial consumables, components, and engineered products. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in cement, power, and steel plants. • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable industrial products and solutions. • Generate leads, prepare technical-commercial offers, and follow through to order closure. • Coordinate with technical and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and support. • Conduct site visits, product demos, and technical discussions. • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities. • Prepare regular reports on sales activity, market feedback, and forecasts. ⸻ Requirements: • Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering • Experience: Minimum 3 years in industrial B2B sales; preference for experience in cement, power, or steel sectors • Strong technical understanding of mechanical components, consumables, and equipment • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to travel extensively and work independently • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office is a plus ⸻ Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with pumps, valves, bearings, fasteners, MRO items, and automation parts • Strong problem-solving ability and customer-first approach • Established network of industry contacts in target sectors
