Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our Meech business vertical.
The primary responsibility will be business development and driving the growth of sales numbers for the division in South India.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets to expand our market presence in the static control industry.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Actively prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of potential clients and projects.

Sales Growth & Targets:

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue in the division.
  • Ensure consistent and effective follow-up on leads and client inquiries.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and competitor products to improve the company s offerings.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the management team.

Negotiations and Contract Finalization:

  • Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and close deals.
  • Ensure terms of the agreements are clearly understood by clients, leading to long-term business relationships.

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years Field Sales Experience primarily with experience related to Printing/ Packaging Converting/Static Control Industry
  • Key account management skills are very important and essential for this role.
  • Being a sales Engineer level job he should be able to do product presentations to clients (Online / Offline)
  • Since this will be a remote operation, he should have apt skills to deal with Head office in coordination of regional work related to Sales & support to clients on timely basis.
