Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned area.

Achieve sales targets and growth objectives set by the company.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

2. Technical Consultation

Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding product selection, application, and integration.

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training for clients.

3. Market Analysis

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the area.

Gather and report market intelligence to help shape sales strategies.

4. Customer Support

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

5. Proposal & Quotation Management

Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders based on customer requirements.

Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales deals.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Qualifications Required

Strong technical & Sales background relevant to the industry (e.g., mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
