Job Description

Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Solapur, Maharashtra
Experience: 2 to 8 Years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical or related field)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Solapur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new markets, generating leads, and building strong client relationships across the industrial sector. This role involves technical product presentations, price negotiations, and overall sales strategy execution in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate high-quality sales leads through cold calling, networking, and market visits

  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers

  • Understand and assess client requirements and propose suitable product solutions

  • Handle end-to-end sales cycle — from enquiry to closing deals and post-sales coordination

  • Develop and grow the assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities

  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction

  • Coordinate with internal teams for deliveries, service support, and logistics

  • Report sales activities, forecasts, and market intelligence regularly

Preferred Skillset:
  • Strong experience in Sales & Marketing of capital goods such as Air Compressors, Pumps, HVAC systems

  • Sound knowledge of Industrial Sales practices and customer segments

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Technical aptitude to understand and explain engineering concepts

  • Proficiency in using MS Office and CRM tools

  • Proactive, target-oriented, and a team player

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel frequently within industrial areas for lead generation

  • Must possess a two-wheeler/four-wheeler and valid driving license

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
