Sales Branch Manager - GT Fresh

As a Sales Branch Manager (SBM) at Lactalis India, you will be responsible for directing all operational aspects of the branch, including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales. Your role will involve assessing local market conditions to identify sales opportunities, developing forecasts and business plans, and ensuring that goals and metrics are met. You will play a key role in motivating and developing branch personnel through training and coaching, as well as addressing areas of improvement to drive growth opportunities. Your responsibilities will also include sharing knowledge with other branches and headquarters, addressing customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly, adhering to high ethical standards and regulations, and managing daily cash collection, indent management, team management, transportation, dispatch activities, and asset management. Additionally, you will network to enhance the presence and reputation of the branch and company, stay informed about competing markets, and provide reports on market movement and penetration. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a graduation degree with preferable computer literacy, have a minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience in the Dairy Industry, possess basic English proficiency and intermediate proficiency in the local language, and have a valid driving license as per local regulations. Previous experience with fresh milk products such as milk, curd, and Lassi will be advantageous, and proficiency in the local language is mandatory. Familiarity with assigned local routes is also required for this role.
