Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Service Engineer to join our field operations team in North Bengal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling printers and consumables while also providing basic troubleshooting, installation, and after-sales service to clients. You must be comfortable traveling within the region (Dinajpur, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, etc.), possess excellent communication skills in Bengali and Hindi, and have a customer-first attitude. Fresh graduates with zeal to learn are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell printers, cartridges, toners, and related accessories to businesses, schools, shops, and government offices.
• Conduct product demonstrations and advise customers on suitable printing solutions based on their needs.
• Install, configure, and perform basic servicing/troubleshooting of inkjet, laser, and multifunction printers at client locations.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-ups with patience and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, service visits, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with the head office for inventory updates, warranty claims, and escalation of complex technical issues.
• Submit daily/weekly reports and meet assigned sales & service targets.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, BBA, BCA, etc. acceptable).
• Must be fluent in Bengali and Hindi (spoken and written); knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows OS, USB/network connectivity, and printer drivers.
• Should be willing to travel extensively within North Bengal (own two-wheeler preferred).
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in the field.
• Prior experience in printer/IT hardware sales or service is preferred but NOT mandatory — freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are welcome!
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting purposes.
