About the Role

This is a long-term contract remote role for a Sage Intacct Specialist with deep experience in designing and configuring the Intacct platform. The Sage Intacct Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining Sage Intacct software, creating and managing Intacct workflows, building and managing Chart of Accounts & Transaction Definitions, providing support for financial/accounting operations, troubleshooting system issues related to Intacct, troubleshooting issues related to data integrations, and optimizing system performance.

This is a long-term contract role for full 40 hrs/week and will be done remotely. Success in this role will require self-learning and ability to self-research unknown topics. Availability needed during US ET/CT business hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams to troubleshoot and solve accounting issues
• Understand accounting requirements for workflows, Transaction Definitions, and other Intacct configurations
• Understand integration and reporting requirements for various applications and connection points
• Work with development team to fix technical issues for existing functionality
• Work with development team to build new integrations and other technical components for accounting needs
• Document business problem and requirements
• Research and find technical solutions to meet customer requirements
• Document business and technical specifications for development team
• Define schedules, timelines, deadlines for deliverables and discuss with business and development teams
• Manage the entire development life cycle, track progress and milestones
• Test and validate the final product
• Work with business teams to test new product and confirm requirements are met
• Manage product deployment
• Lead meetings and present to large groups

Qualifications

• 7+ years with Sage Intacct
• 5+ years in a Sage design, configuration, and implementation role
• 8+ years in accounting specialist role
• Experience working with other Enterprise applications - HR, ERP, CRM
• 5+ years in integration development, platforms such as Tray.io, Zapier preferred
• Sage Intacct software management and support skills
• Financial operations experience
• System troubleshooting and optimization skills
• Reporting & Analytics proficiency
• Software development knowledge
• Experience in IT governance and project delivery
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
