Training & Education: Conduct safety inductions for new workers, deliver ongoing training on procedures, PPE, and emergency response, and provide job-specific safety instruction. Policy & Procedure Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Inspections & Audits: Perform daily checks, conduct formal safety audits, and ensure proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Incident Response & Investigation: Investigate accidents, near misses, and injuries, determine root causes, report findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training, inspections, incidents, safety meetings, and prepare reports for management. Communication & Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for safety, liaise with management, other supervisors, and subcontractors, and promote safety awareness.
