Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer, your role involves ensuring that all interior fit-out projects maintain compliance with safety regulations and create a safe working environment. You will be responsible for managing the storage and inventory of materials on-site. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing safety measures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies - Conducting regular safety audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments - Arranging training sessions for workers on safety procedures and emergency protocols - Monitoring ongoing operations for safety, investigating accidents, and submitting detailed reports - Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements - Coordinating emergency response plans and maintaining safety documentation - Managing inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment for interior fit-out projects - Ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing wastage Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) preferred - Experience: At least 1 year in safety management and store/warehouse operations in construction or interior fit-out industry - Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification, risk management, and interior fit-out materials - Skills: Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure - Certifications: First Aid, Fire Safety, and Safety Management certifications are advantageous This is a full-time, on-site position with flexible working hours based on project requirements. You should be prepared to work in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment, with frequent site visits and inspections.,
