Safety Officer

Duties and responsibilities

Ø Knowledge on statutory requirements on EHS & project related activities.

Ø Ensure that company policies adhere to local & state regulations.

Ø Train and oversee employees on health and safety regulations.

Ø Conducting Toolbox Meeting along with project manager in daily basis.

Ø Monitor personnel and workspace & follow the Method statement for each & every site activity.

Ø Encourage and educate for safer work equipment’s, materials, and supplies.

Ø Track the number of incidents and produce reports.

Ø Inspect facilities or sites to determine if they meet specifications or standards.

Ø Inspect equipment or systems.

Ø Investigate safety of work environment.

Ø In case of any incident, site incident & root cause analysis report to be generated.

Ø To be aware about the lockout & tag out procedures.

Work Experience

Ø Minimum 2 – 3 Years’ Experience in Life Science Laboratory Construction Projects.

Ø Preferably having work experience in GMP/Non GMP & BSL facilities.

Educational Qualification

Ø Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Ø Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA

Skills

Ø Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Ø Excellent communication and training skills.

Ø Observation and analytical skills to identify risks.

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.

Ø Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Work Location

Local candidates or whoever willing to relocate to various project locations in India

Travel Requirements

• The position is based at Koncepo's Head office in Electronic City Phase 1 in Bangalore. Travel to the client's location or any site visit will be part of the profile.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
