You will be working as a Safety Officer at Manastu Space, a Space Safety and Logistics Company dedicated to using technology to protect the Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space. The company aims to develop an Agile, Safe, Efficient, and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine, and catalyst to prevent satellite collisions and Debris Pollution in space. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct routine safety assessments and inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. - Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs. - Perform HAZOP analysis to assess and mitigate potential risks in operations. - Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. - Provide safety training to employees and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Maintain accurate safety records and collaborate with other departments to mitigate safety risks. - Establish KPIs for safety programs and monitor safety performance continuously. - Create inspection schedules, generate reports, and resolve safety issues promptly. - Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in safety engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field. - Strong project management experience in compliance initiatives. - 2-5 years of safety management experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing industries. - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in safety management software. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Safety Engineering or related field. - Certification as an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (OHS) or equivalent. - Experience in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessment methodologies.
