Full Time
Conduct daily shopfloor safety rounds and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, PPE usage, and statutory regulations.
Prepare and update safety checklists, permits, and inspection records.
Issue Work Permits: Hot work, Confined space, Work at height, Electrical lockout/tagout.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and prepare root cause analysis reports.
Plan and conduct safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Monitor contractor safety compliance and ensure proper induction.
Inspect equipment like lifting tools, cranes, welding machines, grinders, and safety devices.
Ensure firefighting equipment, emergency exits, and alarms are functional.
Assist in preparing and implementing emergency response plans.
Maintain documentation for statutory compliance (Factory Act, environmental records).
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and HR for safety improvements.
Review PPE requirements and ensure timely issuance/replacement.
